This is a circular route through most iconic Formentera spots. I recommend use a MTB bike or bike packing, cyclocross bikes will also work.

Circular route through the Formentera Island.  I recorded this route for an MTB, however works very well for bikepacking and cyclocross, as you can take two days to relax and enjoy the Island.

The route is based on other routes I published some years ago. I updated the route to avoiding some private property and have added some @poi[single tracks](50458735). You will find some private property chains in some parts, but bear in mind they are usually for the cars which invade everything to reach the most secrets "cala" cove (you will hear this name pretty often). Every now and than you will find some signals reminding us to respect and protect the environment, mostly some ropes designating the areas with limited access, this is to protect the dunes regenerating.

Note also that camping is not allowed on the island, however, you will encounter plenty of bivouac option.

I have added some single tracks in the Mola area, very suitable for MTB, but try to avoid if you're expecting a easy going day.

It took to me about seven hours to complete it in total, but I would recommend a couple of more hours to enjoy a nice @poi[lunch](50458731), spend time at the beach, and grab a drink at "@poi[chiringuitos](50458750)" (beach bar).

The weather is pretty nice through the entire year excluding the very short winter months (December, January and February) although don't expect any drop below 5 Celsius, It is very windy during winter, and can be pretty cold too.

Bear in mind Formentera it's a very touristic Island and although it's quite well protected, environmentally speaking, during the months of July and August you will be pretty much be surrounded of people, umbrellas and scooters all of the time.
