Beautiful climbing tour in Tiroll Alps

As everyone knows, Alps is Mekka of cyclists and here is one of most beautiful road routes in the area of Tirrol Alps - @point[Innsbruck](d,98009.02) in Austria. The best start is here because of many possibilities to park, buy some neccessary staf before the ride. Alternative starting point is a small town @point[Telfs](d,22589.56) or other towns in the valley of Inn.
The ride in front of you is over 100km long with nearly 1800 climbed meters up to the peak at @point[ Kühtai](d,68261.84) -  2020 meters over see level, then think about it, it will be hard for a not trained cyclist. The 
@slice[climb](d,51085.9,68648.79) to Kühtai reaches up to 16% in some sectors.
The best time for the ride is between June and September, but anyhow check the forecast, winter starts and ends in the mountains unexpectly.

# Route
Route starts on the flat in the valley of a river Inn, and first part of the journey is quite easy just to worm up and enjoy views on the Alps from bottom, see how big mountanis they are. Profile will get changed  when you pass a town Ötztal and you turn left @point[Meran /route 186](d,43681.81).
The slope slightly increases up to Ötz, where the real @point[climb](d,49698.17) starts.
In front of you is ride uphill for next 18 kilometers, but views are beautifull. When you reach a @photo[reservoir](7068191) Speicher Längental, your climb is nearly done.
At the top of the route are there many restaurants where you can fullfil your empty tank, have some lunch, coffee end rest a bit before you go downhill.

After the break wear a long sleeve jersey, because you will get probably cold, downhill is very long but you will really enjoy it. There are no sharp curves down the hill, with several avalanche galleries, watch the traffic and your speed, you can cross easily over 100km/h if you do not care and let the bike go.
After 20 km downhill you will reach @photo[Innsbruck](10388863) quite easily, there are many possibilities togo eat and spend lovely time in very nice town, heart of Tiroll Alps.

* warm up section over 45km, keep calm
* uphill ride 18km and 1350m climb
* beautiful views at @photo[Kühtai](7068189)
* long fast downhill ride keep speed and check brakes

# Notes

* start early, in 2nd half of the year days are shorting quickly
* Weather is changing quickly, check the forecast but be prepared, temperature differs in tens of degrees Celsius
* best season between May- September 
* long sleeve highly recommended even in summer
* @slice[the climb](d,49743.95,67550.04) in marked as HC – Hors Categorie /The toughest of the tough.
* Water, food, and other services are available along the route, BUT not during the 18km climb, check tour gear at least in @point[Ötz](d,49462.84)
