## **This is a perfect harder loop heading to the north to mountains between Costa del Sol shoreline and inner meseta of Spain.**

# Route

* [Park](http://www.car-parking.eu/spain/malaga) your car in the centre of Malaga.
* Start riding @slice[along the beach](d,0,6415.5) to the east for first 6 km.
* @point[Comares](d,33742.96), a village on top of the hill, offers @photo[spectacle views](2322304).  
* Be carefull when descending from @slice[Comares](d,33247.28,40025.16) to the valley.
* Savor climbing along the massif of @photo[Santopitar](2322302) to  @slice[Alfarnatejo](d,61845.24,68327.01) through an impressive, narrow gorge. 
* Enjoy pine woods as you descend  along N. P. @photo[Montes de Malaga](2322305) back towards Malaga.

# Notes

* Climbs are difficult, including some long, steep section. **Be sure you have adequate level.**
* You can always cut the ride short if you feel exhausted; for example, @point[take MA-166 above Olias](d,21308.07), or @point[A-7204 in Riogordo](d,54437.11). 
* There are fountains in Olias and Riogordo to grab water.  Other nice villages, such as @photo[Colmenar](2322303) and Alfarnate always offer bars and restaurants to get refreshment and snack.
* **Take a jacket.  The downhills are long and fast.**
